Re-packing is going well

We're quite sure that the only update anyone wants from us these days is a tracking number. We can finally say that the only thing between now and then is Sunday. If FedEx or USPS accepted drops on Sunday, we definitely would be there bright and early.

We took a break from printing and sticking labels to take some pictures of our progress and the fort that happened to appear behind me. You may notice some heavy taping on these boxes. When we checked for more randomly packed games, we discovered that some critical pieces were missing from all games. Also, two of the expansion packs, one of which was the Monstrous pack that almost everyone was kind enough to support, were short several cards. All of that has been corrected; the games we already had packed have been re-packed, and we're going to be pushing packages out all week. 

During the time spent re-packing, we also got ourselves a postage scale. Though it should have been obvious, it is saving us a lot of time and we feel pretty fancy using it.

We are the first to admit that all these delays are somewhere between embarrassing and unacceptable. We could not be more sorry and though I'm sure you would rather just have the game, all these delays have translated into some valuable logistics lessons for us.

For those of you who receive tracking numbers on Monday and throughout the week, we would sure appreciate you throwing up a comment on the board here to let others know that they are in fact coming out. We can absolutely understand the doubt and the frustration and we can't tell you how much we appreciate your support and constructive commentary throughout this whole process.

Greetings!

Just a quick fulfillment update from your friendly neighborhood berserkers with sore thumbs: By the end of the month, we will have shipped just over half (55%) or your orders.

Why the sore thumbs, you ask? 

It turns out that our well-meaning supplier made some mistakes in the sorting of our expansion sets, which necessitated the in-house re-sorting of tens of thousands of cards. 

Additionally, we had one full game that, for reasons unknown, showed up with a rather random jumble of components instead of the usual 1000+ collection of unique parts that each box is supposed to contain. That caused a bit of a panic, as you can imagine. We didn't want to have to open and check all of the orders and resort over half a million parts if they were all wrong. 

Thankfully, after checking a few dozen random boxes, we are happy to conclude the odd box was an anomaly.

I'd love to chat more, but there are piles of games to be shipped!

We managed to get a few shipments out before rates went sky-high right before the holidays and I made my visiting friends and family help with the packing. More shipments to come and we'll be sending you your tracking numbers directly as yours go out.

Hello, all!

I hope your various holiday seasons are progressing well, be they wintry or otherwise. Even with occasional help from very patient friends, I'm afraid that one-man assembly is a slow affair, but it is progressing! When it came to the expansions I discovered that what I thought was organization was just a surprisingly orderly randomization from the printers. Upside, I now have approximately eleventy billion little plastic bags. Downside, it has taken a lot longer than I had hoped to get all the expansions separated and packed.

I still believe everything will be shipped in the next couple weeks and I'll get you a more precise ETA once we're hauling boxes to the local FedEx branch.

Assembly has begun!

We are pleased to report that all parts have arrived and the assembly of your packages is underway! We did learn that the freight ETA means when it will arrive in port (the shipment was unloaded off the ship on November 7), but the actual delivery date varies a bit! There are, however, a literal ton of your board games piled amid shipping boxes getting expansion packs tucked into them as we speak. We're going to power through this process as fast as we can and we'll let you know when the packages are on the road.
